Bio: when Johnny Damon left Boston for New York (and the money) Coco Crisp was traded for to fill his rather large void. After starting off the season very well, in just the fifth game he broke his wrist and struggled the rest of the season. Since then he has lost his lead off spot to new comer Julio Lugo, and lost a number two spot to Kevin Youkilis. He'll bat eighth in the order to start this season, but at least was given back his job in centerfield. He did a bang up job in his 103 games in center, committing just one error.

Projected 2007 Statistics: .285, 8, 50, 80, 25

Fantasy Outlook: his value has dropped quite at bit from the beginning of last season, though could be a huge steal. He'll hang around in the draft, because managers aren't going to jump on a number eight hitting centerfielder with guys like Beltran and Ichiro available. If you leave your spot in center or just outfield open until the later rounds in favor of infielders or pitchers, Crisp could be a good horse to gamble on.
